the rear turbo works just like normal, and the other just sits there till the rear turbo creates ~10psi. So you have the entire engine working to spool one smaller (57mm) turbo, then the second turbo has the increased exhaust volume from a boosted engine to spool. Twin 57mm's in parrallel would almost never spool, but if they work in series the system should operate very smooth with plenty of mid range power and an insane top end.
